4 Unit AMD Radeon 7000 Ready in Action

Had revealed that AMD is preparing a number of new graphics cards with the architecture and specifications of the increasingly sophisticated. The four products that are ready to be released in the near future.

 

Of the four graphics cards, among others, Pitcairn Pitcairn Pro and XT, or who later known as the Radeon HD 7850 series and 7870. This product is still using the same architecture with the previous VLIW4.


While the other graphics card is the Radeon HD 7950 and HD 7970, respectively codenamed Tahiti Tahiti Pro and XT. Well, this one was already using the new draft increasingly sophisticated.

For this type of memory for example, both products are already using this type of XDR2. This type of memory claimed to have a bandwidth of 12.8 Gbit / s, or twice that of DDR5 is only at 6 Gbit / s.

In addition both the Radeon HD 7950 or HD 7970 are both already using 28nm fabrication, and when combined with XDR2 memory product is claimed to be able to save power by 30% from the previous generation.

It is not certain price range and release schedule for four graphics cards, but is expected to already exist on the market starting early 2012.
